The Injured Athlete
Clinical Services
An athletic injury can affect far more than the body. For athletes, being sidelined can bring frustration, anxiety, loss of confidence, isolation, and uncertainty about returning to the sport they love. Clinical support can help athletes navigate these challenges while maintaining a strong sense of identity and connection beyond their performance.
I also understand the experience of injury firsthand. As a former competitive athlete, I have personally navigated multiple knee surgeries, chronic back pain, and herniated discs. I know what it feels like to have your body temporarily or unexpectedly limit your ability to do the sport you love. That lived experience informs my approach and allows me to connect with athletes not only as a clinician but also as someone who understands the psychological challenges of rehabilitation and of returning to competition.
