Jackie Woods, LMFT

For more than 20 years, I have been passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges, discover their strengths, and reach their full potential. Throughout my career as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, school counselor, and coach, I have supported children, adolescents, young adults, and families through periods of growth, transition, adversity, and achievement.

As a former Division I athlete and coach, I understand firsthand the demands of competitive sports. I know the excitement of pursuing ambitious goals, the pressure to perform, and the challenges athletes face both on and off the field. I also know that peak performance is about far more than talent alone. Confidence, resilience, self-awareness, emotional regulation, and strong relationships are the foundation of lasting success.

Today, I bring together my clinical background, experience in education and athletics, and specialized training in sport and performance psychology through Woods Performance Psychology. I am currently pursuing a second master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology and working toward the Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) credential through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP).

My approach is rooted in one simple belief - Great athletes are developed from the inside out.

When I'm not working with athletes, you'll most likely find me in a yoga room, walking my dogs, cheering from the sidelines at my own children's sporting events, or continuing to study the science of human performance and athlete development
